BENFEI USB-C to HDMI Cable

• BENFEI USB-C to HDMI Cable lets you use the USB Type-C port on your computer to directly deliver visuals on your HDMI-equipped Display without the need for cumbersome protocol and connector adapters or dongles.

ATTENTION:

• Charging is NOT Supported.
• The USB C to HDMI cable only works with USB-C laptop/ cellphone/ tablet that supports DP Alt Mode (video output over Type-C port) or Thunderbolt 3/Thunderbolt 4.
• Not all the type c port support DP alt mode, some of them only support data tranfer. Please confirm whether the connected USB-C port of your device supports DP Alt Mode. To do this, please consult your device's user manual, contact the vendor, or check the manufacturer's website.
• If your USB-C host supports DP Alt Mode but the cable doesn’t work, we suggest you:Please make sure that you have chosen the correct input source. For example, your TV has three HDMI ports 1, 2, 3, when you connected HDMI 1, you should choose HDMI 1 as your TV’s input source with your TV’s remote control.
• If it disconnects frequently, please:Keep the cable connected stable and tighten. Don’t move the cable, laptop and monitor during using. Take off your cellphone case.
• If experiencing system slowdown:

1. Disconnect all other USB devices
2. Reduce display resolution via macOS settings
3. Restart MacBook while holding ⌥ + ⌘ + P + R to reset NVRAM
4. Update to latest macOS version
5. Driverless Design Limitation (macOS native DisplayPort driver compatibility)

To ensure optimal performance when using BENFEI USB-C to HDMI Adapter with your MacBook, please follow these recommendations:

Compatibility Check

• - Verified Models: Recommended for MacBook Pro/Air (2016 or later) with macOS Monterey 12.3+
• - Note for M1/M2/M3 Chips: Avoid simultaneous 4K@60Hz output + laptop charging via same port

Display Configuration

Resolution Priority:

• - For M1/M2 MacBooks: Use 3840x2160@30Hz (4K) or 1920x1080@60Hz (Full HD)
• - For Intel-based MacBooks: Max 4096x2304@60Hz (4K)

HDR Management:

• - Disable HDR in: System Settings → Displays → [Your Display] → Uncheck "High Dynamic Range"

Power Management

• - Always connect MacBook's original charger to a separate USB-C port
• - Avoid using multi-device hubs during intensive tasks (video editing/gaming)
