*NEXT DAY SHIPPING*
1999-2007 NBS Silverado / Sierra Manual Brake Conversion Package for use with a 2002-2005 Trailblazer 1.0" Bore Master Cylinder or 2006-2009 Trailblazer 1.062" Master Cylinder.
Stock front Disc, Rear Drum, I would recommend a 1.0" bore master cylinder.
Stock front disc, stock rear disc, I would recommend a 1.062" bore master cylinder.
The 1999-2003 Silverado 1.25" bore master cylinder will bolt up also, but usually the bore is too large for manual brakes and the reservoir is too tall to fit under the cowl of the truck. The shorter 2002-2009 Trailblazer master cylinder's reservoir will swap in place of the Silverado's reservoir.
The 2004 and up Silverado master cylinders will NOT work.
Almost any older GM master cylinder can be used. Message me if you need confirmation.
**NOTE: This kit will require you to remove the pedal from under the dash, drill a 35/64" hole in the brake pedal, and press out the original vacuum booster pin with a hydraulic press to be installed correctly. Please contact us for additional details about the install. (PH: 832-264-5566)
This NBS Silverado / Sierra Manual Brake Conversion Package Comes with:
Benefits:
The adapter plate is CNC machined by a water jet from rigid 1/2” thick aluminum with dimensions that covers up the hole in the firewall after you remove the power booster. This modification will clean up your firewall by getting rid of the big, bulky power booster. Racers do this swap when their engine does not make enough vacuum to operate the power booster, to shed a few pound to make their car lighter, or to clean up the engine bay. The pro-touring fans use manual brakes to get a better “feel” of their brakes when heading into a corner at a high rate of speed. The adapter plate can also be polished up to a mirror finish if needed.
