Rare New York Knicks 14 Bowl Unilever Garden of Dreams Charity Bowling Pin
The entire 2012-2013 Knicks team attended the event, including Carmelo Anthony, Amar’e Stoudemire, and Tyson Chandler alongside Knicks alumni John Starks, John Wallace, Anthony Mason, Earl Monroe, and Mel Davis. The Knicks coaching staff also supported the event and even took a few turns at knocking down pins. With the Liberty season steadily approaching, fans also had the opportunity to bowl a few games with Liberty alumnus Kym Hampton. Bowling wasn’t the only entertainment provided to guests; an interactive photo booth grabbed the attention of many guests who went home with their own photo keepsake. A magician was on hand and fascinated not only the crowd, but captured the attention of players including Ronnie Brewer and J.R. Smith.
Edie Falco, Colin Quinn, Chazz Palminteri and model Kelly Bensimon who also found themselves trading in their everyday wear and putting on a Knicks bowling shirt and a pair of Chelsea Piers bowling shoes.
The star-studded and sold out 14th annual Knicks Bowl once again took place at 300 New York at Chelsea Piers on Monday, February 11th. This year’s event was full of excitement, surprises and guests. Presented by Unilever, Knicks Bowl 14 raised over $285K that benefited the Garden of Dreams Foundation, a non-profit charity that works closely with all areas of The Madison Square Garden Company to make dreams come true for kids facing obstacles. Through unique and unforgettable, on-going events and programs, the Foundation develops strong, long-term relationships that truly change lives. Fans had the opportunity to bowl with their favorite athletes and celebrities, including past and present Knicks players.
