This auction is for an old Central Railroad of New Jersey lantern made by the Dietz company during the early half of the 1900's. This antique lantern is in nice shape. It is free from holes, punctures, breaks, and repairs. It has an original time period blue Corning globe also embossed Dietz Vesta. The globe is free from cracks and chips. The height to the top of the lantern's lid measures 9&1/2". The width across the round bottom measures 6&1/2". All comes apart with ease. Only needing some fuel, this is a ready to light lantern.
