Vintage and used so signs of wear and use are always present on items.  Have not attempted to clean or polish in any way. The lid is dented and has dings. The metal is scratched.  I am sure there are dents and dings in canister but nothing big...lid was most noticeable. Tool was with so keeping together.... dont think it goes together but was with it.
