A single "page" facsimile from page 7 of the Maya Codex of Mexico. It is made of handmade paper and a gesso surface. The art is on one side, the back is blank. The paper is made of fibers from the Yucca plant, common in the Americas. The gesso is a mixture of hide glue and chalk. The painting is done with modern inks. The page has been destressed to match the original.
The art is of an unidentified god dressed as a warrior, wielding a spear. Next to him is an unidentified plant.
Page is fragile and not flexible. Handle accordingly.
