1940's Lord Elgin Grade 559 Fancy Articulated Lugs 21 Jewels 14K GF Art Deco Watch with the Original Rose Gold Benrus Expansion Deployant Clasp.  I don't think you will find this ensemble anywhere, making it more rare and exceptional.

This is a beautiful  Rose Tone Gold example of a spectacular art deco designed high end Lord Elgin Men's Mechanical Watch.  It features very unique articulate lugs, and lovely black dial with Rose Gold Tone accents.     It's extraordinary in my humble opinion.   Really look at the pictures, it's in excellent condition.  No wear to the Golf Filled Watch nor Bracelet.  I'm going to miss this one; gets alot of compliments.

The Lord Elgin brand is part of the Elgin National Watch Company, which was founded in 1864 in Elgin, Illinois. The company became known for producing a wide range of pocket and wristwatches, with the Lord Elgin line being recognized for its quality and craftsmanship until the company ceased manufacturing in 1968.

I take great care in the way I prepare a watch from my collection for shipping.  I always include a complementary Watch Cloth as well.  Every watch is sent fully insured.  With more  expensive watches I ask for signature confirmation to protect you.  You can let me know if you'd like that with this one.  I've never had a problem with delivery.  Well, one but that was bungled by Ebay International Shipping.

So go ahead and BuySumTyme, I  believe you will be very happy you did.  Thank you for your consideration.

Just some Background:

As you will note in my other listings, my passion for watches began as young boy in 1970.  My Dad's Childhood Friend Russ Neglia became a professionally trained Watchmaker and joined  Bulova in the early 50s in their Woodside Headquarters.  Later on in the Early 70's he had his Own Bench right on  the Lower East Side Diamond District; Delancey and Orchard Streets Both Dad and Neil grew in the A, B, C's. .

There is where it started for me as a 10 year old in Wonder.  Dad bought many Watches From Neil and for me it was fascinating; especially when he would let me sit next to him as he worded on a particular watch.  Then it truly took off when my Mom and Dad Brought my brother and I while they were away in the Bahamas, and we received a beautiful Seiko 6137 Automatic Wind with this gorgeous Orange Dial.  I only wish I had it today, because I can't seem to find one like it.

My collection began it earnest upon semi-retiring 15 years ago.  Mostly the late , great American Titans.  I am not a flipper though on the rare occasion I have flipped a watch I decided not to add.

All Sales are Final. Generally because these are vintage, very old, I don't accept returns, but by all means contact me.  I have 100% positive Feedback for a reason.  I've sold a few timepieces in the last two months, so there is recent feedback, but go back to the Seller Feedback.  No Warranty is Expressed nor Implied.  Thank you so much for your consideration. Please Ask any question you may Have.  All the guess work has been eliminated.  I don't flip watches, I buy them, assess them, service or restore them, wear them gently and then after a few years I list them for the next collector.
