Parker 75 Gold Plated Grain d'Orge Fountain Pen

Early French made Parker 75 fountain pen, made in France and dating from the early 1970s.  The pen has flat - topped tassies and the thickness of the gold plated marked in microns at the base of the cap.

Finish: Gold plated Grain d'Orge [Fine Barleycorn] pattern.

Cap/Barrel imprint:  'Parker, Made in France' at the base of the cap.  The imprint also shows the thickness of the gold plate in microns, typical of those found on early editions of this pen.

Nib: 14k gold.  Nib size is Medium and is marked 'Parker, 585, France'.

Refill: Parker press-bar filler inside pen.

Length of pen:  Approx. 5 1/8 inches [about 128 mm].

Condition The pen has clearly had little use but there are 2 very slight minor indentations on the cap to the right of the clip which I have tried to illustrate in photo 10.  The pen writes very well with a smooth medium line and is supplied boxed with Parker instruction/warranty leaflet.
