How to Use

1. Place the Film Applicator on a Perfectly Flat Test Surface. Adjust the Squeegee to the Desired Gap. It Should Be Twice the Amount of Wet Film Thickness Required.

2. Pour a Small Amount of Test Sample Between the Endplates at the Front Section of the Applicator. Work at a Slow, Even Speed of Approximately 1-2 Cm per Second.

3. Move the Instrument over the Surface Until the Liquid Has Been Fully Coated. Any Remaining Liquid Has Been Removed from the End of the Coating Path.

4. the Actual Wet Film Applied Should Be Measured Using a Wet Film Thickness Gauge. the Gap Should Be Adjusted Until the Desired Wet Film Thickness Is Achieved.

• Please Allow the Slight Color Difference Caused by the Shooting Light and 1-3 Cm/Mm Error Due to Manual Measurement, and Make Sure You Do Not Mind Before Ordering.
• The Gap of the Blade Is Adjusted Every 10 Micrometers During Blade Coating.
• Please Clean the Instrument with an Appropriate Solvent Immediately After Each Use.
• The Ends of the Squeegee Move Through the Slot. the Slot Must Remain Free of Test Sample Material at All Times.
• The Differential Head May Occasionally Need to Be Repositioned to Make Corrections for Wear or Misalignment. to Achieve Such an Adjustment, the Assembly Must Be Lowered or Raised. This Can Be Accomplished by Loosening (Not Removing) the Two Hidden Set Screws on Each Micrometer.
