Taylor 614CE 2013 Used Acoustic Guitar

Taylor Guitars boasts an overwhelming market share as the No. 1 manufacturer in the United States.

Guitars in the 300 series and above, manufactured at the El Cajon factory in San Diego County, California, are renowned for their consistent quality, modern specifications focused on playability, and professional-quality, in-house developed pickup systems, earning overwhelming support from top professionals worldwide.

This model features a Sitka spruce top, beautifully figured flame maple sides and back, a maple neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, TUSQ nut, Micarta saddle, 647.7mm scale length, 44.5mm nut width, and an Expression System 2 pickup system—standard Taylor specifications. The well-balanced, flat frequency range characteristic of maple wood gives it a crisp, bright sound compared to other woods.

It has a reasonably fast attack, making it suitable for flatpicking, fingerstyle, and various genres. Initially, the white sides and back were not well-received in the market, and they were later stained brown.

While this look isn't particularly rare now, its specifications were quite innovative at the time, a hallmark of Taylor guitars. It's in excellent condition with minimal signs of use, no noticeable scratches or dents.

The neck is straight, with fret spacing of 2.0mm for the 6th string and 1.5mm for the 1st string, and the frets show almost no wear, making it very easy to play. This is a welcome setup for electric guitar players as well.
