These 'direct mount style' 950 series cranks were the centre pieces of all of their late 8 speed and early 9 speed XTR groupsets. All 5 of the 950 series triple chainsets used the same crankset. The part number(s) stamped into these arms (from the factory) really only denotes the spec of the chainwheel. These two were originally part of a late model 9s M952 5-arm.
Octalink V1 (version 1) 8 splined bottom bracket axle interface. As well as the two XTR Octalink v1 BBs, there's various mid to high end 'Road' Octy V1 BBs that these will also fit up to.
This pair have previously been used and have a few minor cosmetic imperfections from their previous fit up and usage, nothing serious just a few light scratches, overall i'd say that they're in very good condition for their 25 years. (Please check out the photos)
These are the longer 180mm 'high torque' versions. This extra 5mm or so isn't really an issue IMO (unless going to ride the life out of them!) They're just as pretty as a pair of 170 or 175s !!
Complete with both of their original self extracting caps.
