Hello! See my very extensive YouTube video above that goes over every detail
about this motorhome, good and bad!
I'm all about transparency.
For Sale, 1995 Thor West Industries Model M-3500 "Residency"
Class A Motor Coach on a 35 foot long Ford F-53 Chassis, 17,000 lb
chassis, (11,000 lbs rear, 6,000 lbs front)
This spacious floor plan with an L-shaped sectional couch
and triple opera windows gives the illusion of space without the worries
of slide-outs and it adds lots of natural light! It features
two large skylights as well so that combined with the opera
windows bring
in even more natural light. It also has a very unique feature,
a laundry chute! It has a backup camera that can be used as a full time
mirror-image rear view camera, and a tire pressure monitoring
system for all six tires, and even for the four tires on a tow car.
It has all of the modern features and appliances of modern
RV's with the exception of a washer and dryer, dishwasher and solar.
It has been re-finished in a light grey paint made for
yachts by a company called Interlux.
It also boasts tons of upgrades for better reliability,
better handling, better engine performance and better safety.
It has a new rebuilt transmission, new rebuilt differential,
new rubber roof, new tires, new batteries, new paint (made for Yachts),
new upholstery, new floors, new carpet, new trac bars,
new sway bars, on and on! The list is below.
We are the second owner, and have had it 13 years, and
has always been an Arizona vehicle, no rust! I have tons
of receipts
and records as shown in the pics.
Everywhere we go, it is a conversation starter. Since it
Everywhere we go, it is a conversation starter. Since it
doesn't have the usual "Nike swoosh" decals all over it
like most do,
we have had many owners of million dollar Motor Coaches
ask to take a tour of it. We have never been turned down
by those
high-end resorts that have the 10-year limit, either.
They too love to look at it when we check in.
It is turn-key ready to go all over the country as we have!
It needs nothing mechanically at this time. These 1990's Ford era
"trucks" are really sought after in the enthusiast community.
This item is sold as-is with no warranty. I reserve
the right to end the auction at any time with more
than 12 hours left
in the auction to someone locally if they offer me

A $250 non-refundable deposit is due by the winning bidder

Things you may think it would need that in the interest
of time I am not going to address: (all these are in
the Youtube Video)
a) Front curtain is not on a track, right now it's on
a curtain rod
b) The side bedroom window screens from the factory
b) The side bedroom window screens from the factory
have flimsy mounts, leaving gaps for bugs to get in
the screen.
At this time we have taped it up. It doesn't affect
the window's function, it can still open and close
just fine.
c) Stove clicker/igniter, tried a couple different
c) Stove clicker/igniter, tried a couple different
brands and ways to use the "push button" built
into the stove.
Gave up on that, instead we just use a clicky lighter.
d) Inverter, to the right of the TV is supposed to
power the TV and blu-ray when you are not on shore
power and
not on generator power. It uses the batteries to
do so. It used to work but needs to be replaced.
In the interest
of time I will not be replacing it.
Notes: I have 1/4 tank of fuel on board and won't
Notes: I have 1/4 tank of fuel on board and won't
be adding any for ease of weight, transportation, etc.
This makes
the generator inoperable until more than 1/4 is added.
Therefore the top roof AC's I can't show you the
digital
thermometer reading like I did on the dash AC as a
result, and where it is stored now I don't have 30
amp service so
can't do that either. They do work perfectly though!
The refrigerator however I can run on AC to show
the temps on it, and didn't do that at the time of
making my video.
I can do so per request. The fridge works just fine too.
When these types of vehicles are manufactured, Ford
doesn't know what the RV manufacturers are going
to do with
the chassis so they leave the Ford plant "stripped".
Our initial driving experience was a two-hand white
knuckle one
especially with winds and semi trucks pushing us all
over the place. Also concerning were the transmission
temperatures
on long climbs and engine output on those climbs.
After all of the upgrades we have done, the power,
handling, and reliability
have been corrected and are far beyond its factory
specifications. We now keep up with the diesel pushers
on the climbs with no worry.
