This auction is for a comic created by me, Steve Peters, and writer Bianca Alu-Marr.
In Comicverse: Subspace Chatter #1, the Comicverse characters take a break from their comedic sci-fi adventures to do a nerd culture podcast, transmitted straight from the comic book shop on the Final Frontier. They review old sci-fi shows like Space: 1999 (Episode: Black Sun) and Star Trek: The Next Generation (Episode: Tapestry), tackle the latest comic book controversies (such as Captain America working for Hydra, the woman-only screening of the Wonder Woman movie, and Doctor Who being cast as a woman), and satirize indy comics (such as Max Ink's Blink and Cerebus In Hell).
It also includes a review of the first appearance of Doctor Strange, featuring guest commentator Adam McGovern, writer for Image Comics (Nightworld; Aquaria), Dark Horse Comics, GG Studio and others.
The review of the TNG episode, "Tapestry", was done in the style of a podcast called Mission Log. We shared our homage with the guys at Mission Log, and John Champion had this to say:
"This is AMAZING! Thank you so much for capturing the spirit of Mission Log in your awesome comic!"
Comicverse #1 is a Black and White Manga-Size comic, cover price $6.00, 2017, 60 pages.
