This auction is for 10 comics created by me, Steve Peters, that feature jams with Dave Sim that he's done for me over the years (and a little bit of Gerhard, too).

Awakening Comics #1 is the winner of a 1996 Xeric Award; it's six tales of cosmic adventure served with a smile. One of the six is a jam comic with one-panel guest appearances by Dave Sim, Paul Pope, Mark Oakley, Matt Feazell, Scott Roberts, Steve Remen, Greg Hyland, Joe Chiappetta, Rick Veitch, James Kochalka, Sam Henderson, Oscar Stern, Rob Walton, Jimmy Gownley, and two "mystery artists."

Awakening Comics #2 features two jam pages with Dave Sim featuring Cerebus the Aardvark. Gerhard contributed to them, too---just a tiny figure in the first one, and a background in one of the panels of the second one. Find out what happens to Cerebus AFTER his death in Cerebus #300---it's the first Cerebus in Hell comic, 20 years before Sim put out theCerebus in Hell comic! It also has a jam page with James Kochalka and Silly Daddy artist Joe Chiappetta.

Everwinds: 'Shrooms is a reprinting of Everwinds #2 and #3. Fur Face the shaman decides the group must eat some strange mushrooms in order to solve the mystery of the fox's origin. Much chaos, confusion, and psychedelia ensue. A virtual reality wizard takes the form of the evil shaman Broken Neck and engages in mortal combat with Fur Face. When Fur Face's spirit is captured by the cybershaman, it's up his fox spirit companion to travel to the underworld to try and get him back. The storyline includes a 1-page jam with Dave Sim highlighting his character the Judge from his amazing comic, Cerebus. In one panel, he even drew the Judge morphing into my elk character, Wapiti, which was quite a trip for me! It also features an appearance of the classic character Arzach that I asked Moebius to draw for me at a comic book convention in New York. It's not quite as involved as the Sim jam; he just doodled a quick sketch of Arzach riding his pterodactyl and that was it, but it is a part of the story. I was actually pretty impressed with how he did it; it was like he went into a little trance and it just flew off his pen, no pencils, no frills. The fox also bumps into another shaman, the hard-boiled Muktuk Wolfsbreath, in a one-page jam appearance drawn by Terry Laban.

Origin of Sparky stars the half-angel, half-devil Sparky in a number of short comic stories, mostly jam comics. It features 4-page jam comic with Mr. Sim, who told me it's the VERY FIRST thing he began drawing after the completion of Cerebus #300!!! Other participants include: Carla Speed McNeil, Franco and Art Baltazar, The Brothers Fraim, Mike Manley, Shannon Wheeler, Zander Cannon, Matt Feazell, Patrick Atangan, Roberta Gregory, James Kochalka, Jamal Igle, Eric Battle, Donna Barr, Kyle Baker, Jimmy Gownley, Jamar Nicholas, Bob Burden, and many more.

The cover of Tails of Sparky #1 is a take-off on the opening sequence of The Brady Bunch (it includes the line "Here's the story of a man named Sparky"). It features nine Sparkys drawn by nine different artists---some of my most frequent collaborators---Daniel Sponton, EJ Barnes, Lee Thacker, Eric Wilmoth, Max Ink, David Mack, James Kochalka, and Dave Sim. The 1- to 4-page jams appearing in TAILS #1 are sometimes done with my friends and students; others were passed around at comic conventions, including SPACE, MOCCA, SPX, and Mid-Ohio Con. One was done online at ComicSpace.com. These jams include contributions by Dave Sim (cerebus), Sergio Aragones (Groo), Tom Scioli (Godland), Greg Hyland (Lethargic Lad), Matt Dembicki (Mr.Big), Max Ink (Blink), Jay Hosler (Clan Apis), Dale Martin (Watusi), Jason Thompson (Dreamquest of Unknown Kadath), Bryan Kane, Lee Thacker (One For Sorrow), The Fraim Brothers (America Jr.), Wes Molebash (You'll Have That), Zander Cannon (Top 10), Paul Friedrich (Onion Head Monster), Matt Feazell (Cynicalman), Pam Bliss, Wally Crane (Sheba), Scott Berwanger (Anubis), Stan Yan (The Wang), and Bryan Glass (Mice Templar).

Parallel Comicverses #1 includes a 15-page comic written by Dave Sim called "Cerberus Conquers the Universe!" (Cerberus is Comicverse's 31st Century version of Cerebus) that speculates on how people will remember Cerebus 1,000 years from now.

The Comicverse: Subspace Chatter Omnibus #1 includes a parody of Cerebus in Hell in which Ying the Dragon travels to Hell to find Cerebus and ask him if CIH is canonical. Dave Sim did not participate in this one, but in his Weekly Update on YouTube he decreed that this Cerebus parody is Cerebus canon(!!!).  It also has a piece on the Bill Sienkiewicz Challenge, including a drawing of Cerberus by me and Iguana and Beer drawn by Moment of cerebus Editor, Matt Dow.

Ghosts of Rabbit Hell has pinup drawings of 3 of the 4 ghost characters and three of the Rabbit Hell characters by Dave Sim.

Tails of Sparky #4 includes a pinup of the hybrid character "Sparkybus" drawn by Sim.

Tails of Sparky #5 has a pinup of the hybrid character "Sparkybus" as the Silver Surfer drawn by Moment of Cerebus Editor Matt Dow, and a 9-page "Sparkybus" comic with art by Dave Sim.

I am happy to list any of these comics by itself on eBay. Message me to let me know which one you're interested in and I will create a listing for you.
