il Rockwell AIM 65 (R6500 based Advanced Interactive Microcomputer) è un microcomputer basato sul microprocessore MOS Technology 6502 prodotto da Rockwell International a partire dal 1976. Si differenziava dal MOS KIM-1, il primo dei microcomputer basati sul MOS 6502, per essere un sistema più evoluto, comprendendo anche una tastiera completa e una piccola stampante a carta termica. Era concepito come sistema di sviluppo educativo, ma costituiva in effetti uno strumento versatile ed economico.
Il sistema si avvia , il display originale è operativo e la stampante termica integrata funziona regolarmente come mostrato nelle fotografie.

Il computer presenta diverse crepe e riparazioni effettuate precedentemente sul case esterno dovute all’età, chiaramente documentate nelle fotografie . Tali difetti non compromettono il funzionamento del sistema.

A bit of history:
The Rockwell AIM 65 (R6500 based Advanced Interactive Microcomputer) is a microcomputer based on the MOS Technology 6502 microprocessor produced by Rockwell International since 1976. It differed from the MOS KIM-1, the first of the microcomputers based on the MOS 6502, for being a more evolved system, also including a complete keyboard and a small thermal paper printer. It was conceived as a system of educational development, but it was in fact a versatile and economical tool.
The system starts, the original display is operational and the integrated thermal printer works regularly as shown in the photographs.

Original electronic board in excellent aesthetic and conservation conditions.
The computer has several cracks and repairs previously made on the external case due to age, clearly documented in the photographs. Such defects do not compromise the operation of the system.
Historic model based on the MOS Technology 6502 processor.
