Jacob Wilson (born 2002) is a standout shortstop for the Oakland Athletics, drafted 6th overall in 2023 out of Grand Canyon University. Acclaimed for elite contact hitting, he was a 2023 consensus All-American, 2023 WAC Defensive Player of the Year, and top-10 MLB draft prospect. In 2025, he was a starting All-Star and considered a top Rookie of the Year candidate.
