Vintage original NASA service award plaque presented to Michael C. Schneider Jr. for his dedicated service with NACA/NASA from 1942 to 1974.

This unique commemorative plaque features a large metal NASA “meatball” emblem mounted on a solid wood backing and includes the original engraved presentation plate:

“Michael C. Schneider, Jr. – For Dedicated Service – NACA-NASA 1942-1974 – Best Wishes From Your Friends At The Lewis Research Center.”

The plaque commemorates 32 years of service spanning the transition from NACA (National Advisory Committee for Aeronautics) to NASA. Lewis Research Center is now known as NASA Glenn Research Center in Cleveland, Ohio.
