Antique 4.75” Dollhouse Maid Doll Bisque Head & Limbs Original Costume c1910

Description:

Sweet and appealing antique dollhouse maid doll measuring approximately 4.75 inches tall. Dating from the early 20th century, she features a beautifully painted bisque head with molded auburn hair, delicate blue eyes, rosy cheeks, and bisque arms and legs with painted black shoes.

She retains her simple original costume, consisting of a gray dress with a cream apron trimmed with decorative lacework. The clothing shows honest age and wear appropriate for a doll that was clearly loved and used, giving her wonderful character and authenticity. Her expression is especially charming, making her a lovely addition to a dollhouse, miniature scene, or collection of antique dolls.
