Up for sale is a vintage 1940s/1950s Little Chef toy electric stove range (Model 800) by Tacoma Metal Products Co., sold alongside a lot of 7 vintage play utensils. The unit was plugged in, and the oven heated up quickly. The cord/plug still safely encases the wires, but the outer layer is frayed. Additionally, because the center knob is missing, I am selling this entire set AS-IS for parts, repair, or restoration.
CONDITION DETAILS:
- STOVE OVEN: The heating element was briefly tested and successfully warms up.
- PLUG AND CORD FLAW: The outer cloth braid on the power cord is frayed and pulled away at the base of the rubber plug cap. The inner wire insulation layers are fully intact with no raw copper wires exposed.
- STOVE FLAWS: The center plastic control knob is completely broken off. Widespread interior surface rust speckling is present in both compartments. Missing original wire interior racks and baking pans.
- UTENSILS: Includes 7 pieces. Please note that several utensils are incomplete and missing their original red plastic handle sleeves, leaving bare metal rods. The rotary egg beater and measuring cup handles are intact.
Please review all photos carefully to assess the exact cosmetic condition and missing pieces before purchasing.
IMPORTANT SAFETY DISCLAIMER: This is a mid-century vintage appliance being sold strictly as a non-functioning adult collectible, restoration project, or nostalgic display piece. It does not meet modern electrical safety standards. Buyer assumes all responsibility regarding any future electrical operation.
