*Over the coming months, I'll be having a huge clear out of items gathered over many years. The contents of my shed, attic and storage spaces all have to go. Once they are gone, they are gone.

A wonderful vintage folding sun lounger dating, I believe, from around the 1960s.

Featuring the same striking black fabric decorated with vibrant red, orange and yellow roses, this lounger has a fantastic mid-century appearance and would make an eye-catching addition to any vintage caravan, camper van, retro garden display or prop collection.

Please note that this lounger does have a tear to the fabric near to the frame with previous stitched repair attempt, visible in the photographs. Buyers should examine the pictures carefully and satisfy themselves regarding condition before purchase. The tear may not be of concern if the lounger is intended primarily as a display item, prop, vintage caravan accessory or decorative piece. Equally, someone with the appropriate skills may wish to undertake an appropriate repair.

The colours remain remarkably bright and vibrant, and the floral pattern displays beautifully despite the passage of many decades. It is a wonderful example of the bold, cheerful styling associated with the period.

The folding metal frame remains presentable with the expected age-related marks, light surface corrosion and signs of long-term storage and use. These all contribute to the authentic vintage character of the piece.
