Welcome to the sale of this iconic desk lamp

Designed by George Carwardine for the Anglepoise company and manufactured by Herbert Terry & Sons this is their iconic 1227 model lamp. This version of the lamp would date from the early 1960's and comes in its original grey painted finish. This lamp retains its original Crabtree bakelite bulb holder and has new fabric cable and a new plug. The lamp holds its position well and is ready for use. A decorative classic that's cheaper and greener than a new one! The lamp has a few dents and scratches which have been reflected in its price. 

The lamp measures (in cm) 60 tall, 45 wide and 15 deep (base).  It weighs 4kg

 I offer free delivery on many of our items, however delivery shown is for the UK mainland only. There will be a surcharge for some addresses in Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, the Isle of Man, the Scilly Isles and the Highlands and islands of Scotland. You are more than welcome to collect or I can deliver locally if needed.
