This Lid/cover for the SmartBlock is a compatible accessory for the STARLAB Mixer HC as well as the Eppendorf Thermomixer Comfort in the 24-well configuration (1.5 mL tube). The lid is used to prevent evaporation and contamination during incubation and allows for safe closed thermoblock applications. By precisely snapping onto the SmartBlock, even pressure is exerted on all tube lids - important for tight, evaporation-free incubations. Suitable for standard 1.5 mL microcentrifuge tubes.
