This listing is for the framed oil painting of Chinese Junks that you see in the photos. I purchased it at an estate sale in Oregon where I was not told its history. I am guessing that it is a mid century painting painted around 1950 through the 1970's. 

It is a it is stretched on a Grumbacher stretcher so I wonder if it was painted in the USA I think that the writing is probably Chinese which I did not read a Google translation of the characters suggest that part of the Chinese rating says the three gorges. I am guessing that that would be the three gorges along the Yangtze river. I have not been able to identify the artist, quotation mark CT Wang. I leave it to the buyer to decide when it was painted where it was painted who the artist is.

The frame measures close to 31 by 27 by 1 3/8 inches. The area of the frame exposed by the frame measures close to 23 3/8 by 19 1/2 inches. The framed painting weighs close to 6 pounds 12 ounces. 

The condition is much like you see it in the photos. The inner lining on the frame shows a little discoloration. The frame has a slight amount of wear. The canvas is not straight super tight so it is a little loose which is probably how it was originally made. Painting and frame might benefit from a cleaning. The two bottom nails that hold the painting in place are loose but the two top nails hold it fine. Otherwise painting and frame are generally fine and as shown. My photos should give you a good idea of their general condition.

I often but not always ship the same or the next day. Often, I have a double wall box custom made for larger items and that might result in a short delay. When I use packing peanuts, they are usually biodegradable. Sometimes, I use used boxes.
