New and Uncut - One of Vogue's large envelope patterns

This is a fitting shell - also known as a sloper or block.  You can follow the instructions to get a great fitting dress. With a rounded jewel neckline and fitted bodice.  The skirt is mid-knee and straight.  The shell is front opening for fit but this is the starter for you to make with any fastening.  The pattern tells you how to deal with creasing and fitting issues to make the perfect dress.  Gingham is a great fabric to use for initial fitting but once perfected you can use any dress fabrics!
