 *The Thailand 500 Baht banknote was issued by the Government of Thailand in 2016 to commemorate the queens seventh cycle birthday. The obverse of this purple banknote features the Royal Garuda emblem and Bhumibol Adulyadej wearing the Royal House of Chakri gown. The banknotes reverse depicts the Royal Garuda emblem, the royal family, Queen Sirikit examining Royal Folk Arts and Crafts Center products, a seated Queen Sirikit wearing a Thai Boromphiman costume, a Khon performance, Lygodium products, and Queen Sirikit Cattleya and Queen Sirikit rose flowers. The paper bill is 156 x 72 mm in size and bears a holographic stripe, a 4-mm wide green-to-gold RollingStar Cube windowed security thread with demetalized 500 Thai texts, and a watermark that reflects Rama IX and an electrotype Thai text. This Thailand 500 Baht banknote is in uncirculated condition.

Key anti-counterfeiting features include:
1. Special color-changing ink with hidden numerals. The gold design changes to green when the banknote is tilted, revealing the hidden Arabic numeral "500."
2. A translucent watermark of the portrait of His Majesty the King and the Thai numeral "500," clearly visible when held up to the light.
3. A 3D foil strip featuring the emblem commemorating His Majesty's 80th birthday. 1. On the auspicious occasion of His Majesty the King's 80th Birthday Anniversary on December 5, 2007, the number "500" is in the center of the emblem. When tilted, it changes to "๕๐๐" (Baht).
4. A moving rectangular strip with alternating colors is embedded in the banknote paper on the back. It changes to green when viewed from different angles, and when the banknote is tilted up and down, small gold squares can be seen moving between the left and right sides.
5. Special iridescent yellow ink appears in rows of Arabic numerals "500" and Thai numerals "๕๐๐" alternating with vertical iridescent yellow patterns.
In addition, there is a symbol for the visually impaired: three dark purple flowers derived from the Roman letter "F" in Braille.
