For parts or repair - power contact fault, Y-axis broken, fine focus inoperative, dimmer lever missing, optical contamination/mold present.
This microscope is sold AS-IS for parts or repair. Multiple functional issues confirmed: power connection fault (requires several ON/OFF cycles to light), dimmer lever broken off but operable by finger, fine focus knob unresponsive, Y-axis stage handle inoperative. Left eyepiece has heavy contamination and mold inside; right eyepiece relatively clean. Objective lenses show dirt on front elements and light internal mold. Body and optical tube show multiple scratches. Viewing chamber contains visible debris.
Power tested - halogen lamp lights after several ON/OFF attempts due to contact fault. Dimmer control functional despite missing lever. PRESET button works. Coarse focus operates without stage drop. Revolving nosepiece (5-position) operates smoothly with no play. Fine focus knob does not respond to adjustment. Stage X-axis moves normally; Y-axis handle is broken/inoperative. Condenser moves up/down normally, iris diaphragm operates. Observation test completed with 4x and 10x objectives - field brightness changes confirmed (no prepared slide available for resolution testing). Head tilt mechanism frozen at 30 degrees.
Main microscope unit, power cord only. Includes 2 eyepieces (WHK 10x/22), 2 objectives (SPlan 4x/0.10, A10/0.25), Aplanat Achromat condenser. No case, no additional objectives, no manual.
