A modern classic of Scandinavian design. The vase has Koppel's signature bulbous, barrel-form body with a softly tapering neck, crafted in highly polished stainless steel that reflects both the room and any flowers placed within. Even empty it has real sculptural presence. The base is set with the maker's earthenware disc, clearly embossed "GEORG JENSEN DENMARK."

Henning Koppel was one of the leading figures of the Danish mid-century design movement and a long-standing Georg Jensen collaborator, known for organic, functional forms that have stood the test of time.
