Antique hand-coloured print from 1804 by Thomas Curtis, depicting the Venus Flytrap plant. The print is part of a series of plates, with this specific one being numbered 785.

Very sought after early Venus FlyTrap print.

In Very Good Antique Condition. No foxing, but paper looks aged. This print was originally frame and matted by a gallery. I reframed it after it fell off my wall, breaking frame and glass and damaging original mat. Print survived damage FREE. I also salvaged the original certificate of authenticity. 

Print measures approximately 8.5" by 5" inches.  Frame measures approximately 10" by 8" inches. Hinged frame easily opens and closes.
