Description

Gibson Custom Shop Historic Collection 1959 Les Paul Standard Heritage Cherry

This exquisite Les Paul, a masterpiece that captivated countless guitarists and earned the title of "King of Electric Guitars," underwent numerous refinements in 1999, marking the 40th anniversary of the original 1959 model's birth. While there are many minor scratches from years of use, the frets have 85% remaining and the neck condition is perfect, ensuring long-term, worry-free use.

It boasts a large, beautifully grained AAA figured maple top with flecks that reveals different faces depending on the angle, a single-piece mahogany back, and a dark, fine-grained Madagascar rosewood fingerboard—a truly superb combination of wood materials. Weighted at a comfortable 4.030kg, the slightly thicker, more robust neck grip (compared to a '58 model) delivers a powerful, mellow, and incredibly long sustain—truly amazing!

Enjoy this gem of a guitar, flawless in every aspect—sound, materials, and more! *Comes with a recently manufactured Gibson Custom Shop brown hardshell case.
