A’s legend Barry Zito went 17-8 with a 3.49 ERA in 2001 and finished in the Cy Young conversation, setting up the award he’d take home the very next season. For a stretch in the early 2000s nobody in the American League had a nastier curveball than Zito. He anchored a young Oakland rotation alongside Mark Mulder and Tim Hudson during Oakland’s Moneyball era.

This late ‘01 authentic features an American Flag patch sewn over the MLB Batterman logo on the back of the neck as all teams wore following the 9/11 terror attacks.
