Up for sale is a classic vintage Tyzack Gents Dovetail Saw, proudly manufactured in Sheffield, England. Known for producing some of the finest edge tools of the 19th and 20th centuries, Tyzack saws are highly prized by modern woodworkers for their superb balance and excellent carbon steel composition.

This fine-joinery saw features a rigid steel back along the spine to prevent the thin blade from bowing, making it ideal for precision joinery, cutting dovetails, and small-scale woodworking projects. The turned wooden handle features a clear, authentic factory "TYZACK" stamp impressed directly into the wood grain.

Please Note: The saw comes housed in a vintage cardboard protective sleeve branded "Disston Professional Dovetail Saw." While the sleeve does not originally belong to this British-made Tyzack saw, it was found protecting the tool and serves as an excellent guard for the fine teeth, as well as a neat piece of workshop memorabilia for collectors!
