A 1995 Tal Farlow has arrived. Based on the ES-350T, a popular model among session guitarists, it features a 17-inch wide body and a 2 1/4-inch thick body.
It boasts unique features such as a scroll design on the cutaway bout, a toggle switch positioned near the rear pickup for easy access during playing, a unique tortoiseshell pickguard, an upside-down crest inlay, and a double crown inlay on the headstock. While the original 1960s model was short-scale, this instrument features a medium-scale maple neck for improved playability, contributing to its authentic playability and sound.
The body, clad in a somewhat rare wine-red color, is beautifully complemented by the intricate binding on each part, giving it a chic and dignified appearance. As is often the case, there is deterioration of the celluloid pickguard and the hardware as a result; only the severely deteriorated pickup covers have been replaced with aged original parts.
The rear tone knob insert has been replaced with one with a different font, there is a small chip in the headstock binding, and an additional strap pin has been added to the neck heel with a broken screw. Otherwise, the guitar is in generally good condition, with about 70% of the frets remaining, no buzzing, and no issues with the neck condition or truss rod action.
Original hardshell case, pickguard, and pickup covers are included.
