Original vintage 35mm Kodachrome color slides.

This lot contains two slides photographed in Yugoslavia in 1959.

The images show a traditional rural farrier workshop where a working ox (cattle) is secured in a wooden restraint frame while receiving hoof care and shoeing. Several craftsmen are visible carrying out the procedure using traditional tools and techniques.

These documentary photographs provide an excellent record of agricultural life and traditional animal husbandry practices in mid-20th-century Yugoslavia.
