An elegant expression of mid-century design, this vintage brooch captures the soft romanticism and sculptural movement that defined 1950's costume jewelry.  This brooch features an artfully flowing silhouette adorned with pastel molded glass (fruit salad) elements in blush pink, powder blue and creamy white.  Each petal is delicately shaped, with a dreamy, almost porcelain-like finish.  Sparkling rhinestones are set among the molded glass fruits salad stones, adding brilliance and contrast to the soft matte glow of the glass.  The asymmetrical, openwork  design creates depth, making this brooch feel both airy, yet substantial.  There is some plating wear on the metal, but the photos have some shadowing from the lighting that I could not seem to get rid of.  This brooch is 2" from top to bottom!  PLEASE NOTE:  Although all my jewelry listings will be marked that returns are not accepted (due to eBay's change of policy from 14 day returns to 30 days).
