RPPC First Congregation Church & Main St Essex Junction Vermont VT Postcard 1910

Early street view of the First Congregational Church of Essex Junction, located at 39 Main Street, Essex Junction, Vermont.

Built in 1869 and later bricked over in 1913, the church became a central landmark of this growing railroad village. The postcard also shows nearby homes along Main Street, including one marked with an “X” by the sender.

The church is still standing and in active use today, though the small house in the foreground has long since disappeared as the village center evolved.

ON THE FRONT: "Cong. Church and Street, Essex Junction, VT."
