For sale is a vintage copy of McElligot's Pool by Dr. Seuss.  There is no other date in the book, except for the copyright of 1947.  It seems to be a library binding of the book, especially as it is a library discard.  This library book was obviously well-used, well-loved, and well-worn.  It is in barely acceptable condition.  It has all standard library markings, although the circulation pocket has been removed.  The book pages have several tears that were carefully mended with tape.  The cover is worn, with excessive edge wear, worn corners, and damaged spine.  There is a little stray writing on the front cover, see images.  The front loose endpaper is gone, and the binding is loose, but still holding. This is an unique book, which due to some offensive images will never be reprinted.
