Vintage copper 1960s to 1970s B&M Douro Neapolitan flip-drip coffee maker (also known as a cuccumella) It is a classic stovetop brewer consisting of two interlocking tin-lined copper cylinders and an internal filter basket. Water is boiled in the bottom half (the side without the spout). Once steam starts escaping from the tiny pinhole vent, you grab both wooden handles and flip the entire pot upside down, allowing the boiling water to slowly drip through the coffee grounds into the serving carafe with the spout.
