Pink Floyd – Ummagumma (1969 UK 1st Press, SHDW 1/2) Double LP – “Londen/Gand” Misprints
Up for sale is a first UK pressing of Pink Floyd’s Ummagumma (1969, SHDW 1/2), a double LP featuring one disc of live recordings and one disc of experimental studio tracks. This pressing is highly collectible due to the “Londen” misprint on the back cover and the “Gand Vizier’s Garden Party” misprint on Side 4 — both key identifiers of the 1969 UK first press.
Condition:
Vinyl: Fair (by no means mint) – played and tested. Some surface crackles are present, but all tracks are fully listenable on my setup which is a cheap Bush portable player going through a 3.5mm jack to my Bose 2.1 speakers. I enjoyed listening to the the records. I am no expert in vinyl, these look well played, but they do play ok some with initial crackling and crackles but not enough to distract me or make me turn off listening. Your setup might be different. Still very rare with the labelling errors.
Sleeve: Worn edges, minor creases, and typical age-related wear consistent with a fair-grade 50+ year-old LP. Gatefold intact. Spine good and clearly visible and readable.
Labels: Original Harvest UK labels with no EMI boxed logo. Misprints confirmed.
Collector Notes:
This is a rare first pressing, highly sought after by collectors, even in played condition.
Perfect for fans or collectors who want an authentic historic copy of one of Pink Floyd’s most experimental albums.
