Vintage Commodore PET 2001-16N Computer – Tested & Working - Upgraded to 32KB
Offered here is a vintage Commodore PET 2001-16N computer in fully functional condition.
The computer powers on properly and boots directly to Commodore BASIC 4.0. All keys on the keyboard have been tested and are working correctly. I tested the system with both a Commodore cassette tape drive and a Commodore disk drive, and the computer successfully loaded and operated software.
The machine reports 31,743 bytes free at startup, indicating a full 32KB RAM configuration. An aftermarket SRAM memory upgrade board is installed internally. This period upgrade replaces the original PET memory subsystem with more reliable SRAM chips and appears to have expanded the machine beyond its original 16KB configuration.
