ULTRA RARE—I WAS UNABLE TO FIND ANOTHER EXAMPLE
A genuine piece of 1960s pop-culture history: an original 1967 The Monkees guitar logo pin. This high-quality piece was sold through JCPenney department stores as part of their dedicated 1967 Monkees apparel and accessory line. Unlike the millions of mass-produced, cheap lithographed tin or plastic pinback buttons flooded into the teen market during the height of the original Monkeemania, this is a jewelry-grade artifact featuring premium craftsmanship.
Construction: Die-struck, thick stamped brass with a beautiful, flush red hard enamel fill.
Size: Measures approximately 2 inches in length and 3/4” width (the larger jacket/lapel size).
Condition: Excellent vintage condition. The metal is incredibly rigid and unyielding, showing crisp lines and brilliant red enamel.
Reverse: Features the authentic dual-post attachment design with the original, period-correct spring-loaded ball clutches intact and fully functional.
Ships securely packaged to preserve its condition.
