Excellent vintage condition, minimal wear. All stones are original, prong-set, and firmly secured. The striking multi-tonal green striped art glass stones retain a smooth, glossy finish with no chips, flea bites, or cracks. The faceted emerald rhinestones are bright and clear. Alice Caviness was a prominent American jewelry designer who founded her eponymous company in Long Island, New York, in the mid-1940s. Unlike many of her contemporaries who mass-produced structural designs, Caviness was known for her selective, high-end production and meticulous material choices.
