Rare Original Collectible Snack Tin with Adobe Illustration & Plastic Lid from Dallas Texas.
For sale is a fantastic piece of vintage snack food history: an original Adobe House “Nacho Thins” metal tin can from Dallas, Texas.
The outside of the tin can is covered with printed paper that was probably once more of a golden color, but is a little faded now.
This charming cylindrical tin dates to the 1970s (based on style, typography, and historical newspaper references). It originally held 5 oz of “Salty-Sweet Wafers of Corn” — a unique crunchy snack promoted for dipping, canapés, or just plain munching.
