Selling this vintage rare Chinese Hakka rooster and peony hand painted porcelain bowl measuring 19cm in diameter (Circa 1960s). Made by the Hakka community in Guangdong Province, each white bowl features traditional folk artistry. Design shows a black-tailed rooster with red neck and body walking on green grass symbolising honesty, strength and success. Reverse side displays red, pink or purple peonies and green banana leaves representing wealth, fortune and high status.
