This bold, wide bracelet created by award winning jeweler Darryl Dean Begay is a striking example of sculptural silverwork and storytelling. Crafted using the traditional tufa casting method, the piece features a powerful orca whale design brought to life with rich texture and depth.

The orca’s distinctive coloration is achieved through selective oxidation, creating contrast across different areas of the body. Beneath the whale, flowing wave motifs add movement and a sense of the ocean’s energy.
Set to the side of the orca is a large, vibrant gem grade natural Morenci turquoise, its rich translucent blue color enhancing the marine theme while providing a strong visual focal point. Morenci cabochons of this size and quality are seldom encountered on the marketplace today.
This one of a kind bracelet is a dynamic and artistic piece, blending traditional Navajo techniques with a contemporary ocean-inspired design.
