Alan Price is an English musician who first found prominence as the original keyboardist of the English rock band the Animals. He left the band in 1965 to form the Alan Price Set. Price is also known for work in film and television, taking occasional acting roles and composing the soundtrack of Lindsay Anderson's 1973 film "O Lucky Man". He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame in 1994 as a member of the Animals. O Lucky Man! is a 1973 British surrealist comedy-drama fantasy film directed by Linday Anderson and starring Malcolm McDowell as Mick Travis, whom McDowell had first played as a disaffected public schoolboy in his first film performance in Anderson's 1968 film “If…”.  As the film project developed, Anderson decided Price should write the score and sent him the script, indicating where he would like songs to appear. Price wrote nearly all the songs before filming started. As the filming began, Price was included and appears throughout the motion picture. The soundtrack was released as a vinyl album, by Warner Bros. Records, in 1973. This particular recording is a 1973 release on the same label and manufactured at Columbia Record’s Terre Haute facility. The cover is in VG+ condition with no significant faults. The paper inner sleeve is original but has a split seam. The recording has been tested using Audacity and all tracks are free of skips. There is very little background noise and the sound is clean and strong. The record surfaces show no significant signs of wear. By Goldmine standards the recording would rate VG+.

I always clean, listen and test every record using Audacity that I list on EBAY. I do this in insure that I can give as accurate a description for each album I list. I also try to follow the Goldmine standards on grading records. I do this as a service to the buyer, as well as, to maintain my own reputation.
