Factory-sealed Inkworks material is particularly appealing today because the manufacturer ceased operations in 2009. These original sealed boxes survive from inventory produced during the company's original run and preserve the product in its unopened configuration.

According to the original product configuration, hobby boxes offered the opportunity to find autograph and Pieceworks memorabilia cards along with base, insert, and other randomly inserted cards.
