1981 Topps Squirt Exclusive Limited Edition Complete Hanger Panel #7-29 Features: Jim Rice (#7) and John Castino (#29)
A genuine limited edition promotional item issued through the 1981 Squirt soda promotion — one of the more distinctive regional issues of the early 1980s hobby. These hanger panels were distributed exclusively through Squirt soda retail displays, making them a harder find than standard Topps issues from the same year.
Jim Rice was one of the most feared hitters in the American League during this era, a two-time home run champion and 1978 AL MVP who was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2009. John Castino was the 1979 AL co-Rookie of the Year with Alfredo Griffin.
This panel has been stored in a protective sleeve for approximately 40 years, held in a single private collection since original purchase and never traded or resold.
Condition: MINT — Exceptional overall presentation. Sharp corners, clean surface, vibrant color throughout. Perforation between cards fully intact. Stored carefully since original purchase with no handling wear.
A unique piece of early 80s baseball memorabilia — equally suited to display as to a collection.
Ships flat in a rigid mailer to prevent bending. Tracking included.
