- There are no special requirements for maintenance. With regular usage, it can last up to 10 years. The machine comes with a set of instructions for adding salt, water and vinegar to the pitcher. By running the system for 16 minutes, 200 ppm of hypochlorous acid will be generated. You can increase the strength by simply running more time.
