Storm in a Teacup is a 1937 British comedy about a kind-hearted but outspoken young woman who takes on the corrupt local provost (mayor) of a Scottish town after he orders the destruction of a beloved stray dog. Her campaign against him leads to a hilarious clash between small-town politics, class differences, and public opinion.
