Here for sale is my 1982 MK1 Mini Metro L model purchased from BJC last June.
It starts and drives very nicely, the interior is in good original condition, it would however benefit from some paintwork on the body.
Before i collected my Metro i had BJC apply a coat of Waxoil to the underside to protect it.

This March at 18,500 miles some servicing was done which was the coolant system flushed and the radiator removed so as to back flush the system as well and then a new stainless steel bottom coolant pipe was fitted along with new coolant. the oil Valvoline 20/50 and filter changed , new fan belt, NOS Unipart air filter, NOS Unipart spark plugs and a new Lucas battery was fitted. The tyres are in good condition with plenty of tread and were fitted 4 years ago.
To my knowledge this Metro has not been welded so that is a big plus point in its favour.
The original bill of sale along with the dealer pack including the handbook, some servicing history and a large history file come with this Metro.

What this Metro needs is an owner who will look after it and drive it.
It is for sale on a 7 day auction with no reserve.

Reason for sale is i am not really a car driver, and i wish to return to a car free status.

I would prefer cash on collection as i do not do internet banking.

in answer to a few questions BJC is a well known classic car dealer based in Hampshire, two videos about this Metro are on youtube. the Waxoil used was black  and the wheel arches are body coloured.                                                                                                                                                                     You are bidding to buy not  haggle, and on ending of the auction collection and payment must be arranged by the following seven days.

The taxation class is historic so no road tax to pay and being almost 44 years an MOT is not necessary.
